GamiPress - Points Cards

Allow your users to create points cards to redeem them on physical commerces.

Points Cards gives you the ability to bring to your users the ability to extract their points and use them on physical places through QR codes.

In addition, Points Cards comes with a full featured commerces management with applications, manual approval/rejection, commerces listing and a commerce area.

In just a few minutes, you will be able to have a full system to extend the gamification of your site to physical places!

How it works?

On the user side:

1 - Any user can use a card generator form to extract a points amount, for example, 100 points. 2 - User receives an email with the code that identifies this points card (support for QR codes). 3 - User can go to any of the associated commerces to redeem the points card!

Note: Administrators can configure an automatic expiration for points cards to force the redemption in a time frame.

On the commerce side:

1 - Any user registered on your site can apply as a commerce through an application form. 2 - Administrators are able to review any application received to accept or reject it. 3 - Any commerce approved will have a code to use in redemption form. 4 - Commerces approved can be listed in the commerces listing block, shortcode or widget. 5 - The commerce can redeem the cards in 2 ways: 5.1 - Scanning a QR code that automatically redeems the points card. 5.2 - In the commerce area, the commerce has a redemption form to redeem cards easily by entering the code that appears at bottom of the QR code. 6 - Commerces will get notified instantly if the points card is valid, if has been already redeemed or if has expired.

Note: The commerces feature is completely optional and can be disabled at any moment.

Points Cards extends and expands GamiPress adding new activity events and features.

Installation

From WordPress backend

1. Navigate to Plugins -> Add new.
2. Click the button "Upload Plugin" next to "Add plugins" title.
3. Upload the downloaded zip file and activate it.

Direct upload

1. Upload the downloaded zip file into your wp-content/plugins/ folder.
2. Unzip the uploaded zip file.
3. Navigate to Plugins menu on your WordPress admin area.
4. Activate this plugin.

Install

composer require meteorgpl-plugin/gamipress-points-cards

The vendor’s license checks are intact: activate the plugin in WordPress with a license key bought from the vendor.

License

Declared license: GPL-3.0-only. The code is redistributed under the license the vendor declared in the plugin’s own headers. License profile: undeclared.

Artwork, fonts, media and documents that may be licensed separately are not redistributed; the licensing page explains what is replaced or removed, and the security tab lists it per version. Support and update entitlement come with the license you buy from the vendor.
